Sailbag

The Sailbag
Description:  One of many sailbags onboard the vessel but the only one salvaged. This bag was likely to be placed onboard the vessel when built.  It contained the "running sail" or spinnaker.
 

 
The sailbag is the only surviving bag from Gipsy Moth. It is large enough for two persons to get into and would carry the foresail.
