Sir Francis Chichester receives his Accolade of Knighthood from the Queen at a ceremony at

Greenwich, recalling another ceremony, nearly four hundred years ago, at Deptford, when

Sir Frances Drake was Knighted using the same sword

Everyone  who has assisted with putting together this unique collection ultimately will help  keep the adventures and achievements of a remarkable person, alive for generations to enjoy. This exhibition has also inspired a script for a drama which is in the process of its final touches
 
These items are currently on display at Sanctuary Cove until we can secure their future for generations to enjoy.
 
Should any museum or private individual wish to purchase the entire collection of items, They are currently being presented to the open market on a sale by private treaty basis.
